Presenter Information: Dr. Ben Jacoby

Presenter Bio

Dr. Jacoby currently maintains a private practice in periodontics and has been actively innovating and teaching for over 30 years. He is the current inventor, patent holder, and president of BenTips, a novel periodontal treatment system. Dr. Jacoby also lectures monthly on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Peri-implant infection, as well as the Benefits of Plant-Based Nutrition. He is the inventor and original patent holder of the Periodontal Endoscope and Perioscopy, as well as patented anti-infective implant designs. Basic science research is also an area of interest for Dr. Jacoby and he has published several research studies in major scientific journals.

Dr. Jacoby has a dual Bachelors degree in both biology and chemistry, earned his DDS in 1987 from UCLA. He attended one year of post-graduate training in oral and maxillofacial surgery, and then completed a periodontics specialty residency at Baylor while attaining a Masters Degree in Oral Biology.

Dr. Jacoby currently resides in Kona, Hawaii where he maintains a private practice limited to periodontics and oversees the BenTips company headquarters and research facilities. He enjoys surfing, kiteboarding and 100% plant-based cooking.
