The digital restorative workflow has matured to the point where same-visit crowns, inlays, and onlays are now reliable, strong, and easy to implement. A new generation of compact chairside printers brings fast, chairside friendly printing with a built-in curing light in any dental operatory. Paired with an integrated ecosystem - intraoral scanning, AI-driven design, and streamlined print preparation - these systems make it realistic for a GP to scan, design, print, and deliver a definitive restoration in a single appointment.

This one-hour CE webinar will walk attendees through the complete chairside digital workflow, from capturing the initial intraoral scan to seating the final restoration. We will review clinical indications best suited for in-office printing - single-unit crowns, inlays, and onlays - and demonstrate how AI-assisted design and intuitive print setup dramatically reduce the traditional learning curve associated with chairside 3D printing. The goal is for every attendee to leave with a clear, practical understanding of how an in-office printer can be integrated into their practice to save chair time, reduce lab dependency, and deliver predictable same-day results. We are all familiar with fluoride varnish but in today’s environment of fluoride hesitancy, misinformation, and marketing noise, it’s easy to lose sight of the science that makes it so effective. To continue delivering the highest standard of preventive care, clinicians need a clear understanding of what actually happens after varnish is applied and why those mechanisms matter clinically. This CE webinar takes a closer look at the science behind fluoride varnish, including fluoride uptake, fluorapatite formation, and the role prolonged contact time plays in long-term enamel protection. We’ll also explore how varnish formulations behave on the tooth surface and what clinicians should consider when selecting a varnish for their patients. Cementation is the final, decisive step that determines whether an otherwise excellent indirect restoration succeeds or fails, yet it's often where protocols become inconsistent, rushed, or based on habit rather than the specific material in hand. With the range of restorative materials in use today (zirconia, lithium disilicate and other glass-ceramics), no single cement or surface-treatment protocol applies to every case. This CE webinar takes a substrate-driven approach: matching the cement category and preparation steps to the restorative material, the clinical situation, and the amount of retention available.

Through a step-by-step walkthrough of the cementation workflow, this CE webinar covers cement selection, intaglio surface treatment, the role of primers and silane coupling agents, isolation and contamination control, try-in and cleaning, seating, and finishing. The goal is to give clinicians a clear decision framework they can apply chairside to improve predictability, reduce post-operative sensitivity and debonding, and streamline what is often an unnecessarily complicated part of restorative dentistry. The current technological advances led to creating of all-tissues lasers for dental use like Er:YAG and CO2. However, these lasers have different characteristics based on their wavelength and main chromophores. While the Er:YAG laser is absorbed mainly by water and less by hydroxyapatite, the CO2 laser(s) are predominantly absorbed by hydroxyapatite and less by water. These differences are giving specific tissue interactions providing advantages and disadvantages in the context of different procedures. In contrast with Er:YAG laser the CO2 laser can ensure absolute hemostasis which is essential for the bleeding control but this is not desirable during the flap surgery where the tissue vitality is essential for the final success of the therapy. The caries treatment is also a challenge for the CO2 laser because of the highest absorption in the hydroxyapatite which is resulting in superficial energy concentration and melting. And while the melted surface is preferred for treatment of dentinal hypersensitivity, in the context of caries treatment it could affect negatively the adhesive strength. These and many other aspects of laser-assisted treatment will be discussed in this lecture illustrated by relevant clinical cases and supported by evidence-based scientific data. Infection control in the dental operatory often focuses on major protocols, yet many risks arise from small, routine oversights that occur during everyday procedures. These seemingly minor gaps such as improper handling of materials, inconsistent surface asepsis, and lapses in workflow can significantly increase the potential for cross-contamination and compromise both patient and provider safety.

This one-hour CE webinar will highlight common infection control missteps observed in clinical settings and provide practical, compliant strategies to reduce risk. Special attention will be given to the handling and management of chairside materials, including restorative products, and how proper utilization can support safer clinical workflows. Participants will leave with actionable techniques to strengthen infection control practices, improve compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines, and create a more consistent culture of safety within the operatory. Dental fear and anxiety are among the most common reasons patients delay or avoid oral healthcare. The dental environment is filled with sensory stimuli, including bright lights, unfamiliar sounds, smells, tastes, and touch sensations that can contribute to distress and discomfort. For individuals who are neurodivergent, have intellectual or developmental disabilities, have experienced trauma, or experience heightened anxiety, sensory processing differences may further impact their ability to tolerate dental treatment.

This CE webinar introduces dental professionals to the role of sensory processing in the patient experience. It explores evidence-based sensory adaptations that can reduce anxiety, improve cooperation, and support more positive dental visits. Participants will learn practical, low-cost strategies to create a more sensory-friendly clinical environment and enhance patient-centered care for individuals across the lifespan. Successful direct restorations require more than selecting a composite and placing it into a preparation. Long-term clinical success is dependent upon understanding the complex relationship between adhesive systems, restorative materials, and light-curing technology. Advances in universal adhesives, bulk-fill and nanohybrid composites, antimicrobial restorative materials, and high-output LED curing lights have provided clinicians with powerful tools to improve efficiency and predictability. However, improper material selection or curing protocols can compromise polymerization, bond durability, marginal integrity, esthetics, and restoration longevity.

This evidence-based CE webinar reviews the science behind contemporary adhesive dentistry and composite placement while providing practical clinical protocols that can be immediately implemented in everyday practice. Through clinical cases, current research, and real-world restorative workflows, participants will learn how to maximize restorative performance by optimizing the interaction between adhesives, composites, and curing lights.
