Once the SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 pandemic begins to wane, what does the “landscape” of a dental practice look like? How will our practices be permanently changed and what will go back to the way it was before the pandemic? This CE webinar will examine protocols that have been implemented in the delivery of oral health care that will remain as a permanent part of our “landscape”, such as respiratory protection, aerosol mitigation, screening of patients and dental team members for infectious diseases, the introduction of telemedicine into dentistry and adherence to guidelines from the CDC and other public health agencies and more.

Upon completion of this CE webinar, participants will be able to:
• Differentiate between OSHA regulations and CDC guidelines and other regulatory agency rules.
• Describe changes that were implemented in infection prevention protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Assess the effectiveness of infection prevention protocols for reducing aerosol contamination.
• Evaluate current research on transmission of various airborne infectious diseases, including, COVID-19, influenza, and measles.   ( disclaimer, bio and commercial disclosure )
