This 1 hour CE webinar covers the ins and outs, intricacies, and subtleties of final impressions for crown and bridge restorations. While digital scanning is gaining traction in practice, the traditional impression using PVS materials remains a staple technique for most practitioners. Making a predictably accurate impression can be a challenge in daily practice. This challenge is magnified when clinical circumstances include sub-gingival margins, saliva or blood contamination, multiple units and other patient mediated factors.

This CE webinar will serve to present a systematic and case based approach to impression making and exposes the audience to some promising new materials. In addition, some time will be dedicated to variances and tips and tricks related to provisionalization including unique partial veneer preparation designs.

Upon completion of this CE webinar, the student will have learned
• Predictable and effective hemostasis
• Retraction strategies and alternatives
• PVS review, viscosity selection and 1 vs. 2 step impressions
• Capturing an impression “the first time, every time”
• Impression evaluation
• Triple trays vs. full arch
• Efficient and predictable temporaries.   ( disclaimer, bio and commercial disclosure )
